As a key member of the firm's business litigation department, Ian M. Williamson handles all manner of business disputes with a focus on corporate fiduciary relationships and disputes among owners of closely held business entities. His practice also includes corporate governance and business transactions, health care matters such as licensing or credentialing disputes, and assisting clients with land use and zoning matters. Mr. Williamson currently supports the State Bar of Michigan and the legal community through his activities as a member of the Business Law Section’s governing council. He is regularly recognized for his legal achievements by organizations including Super Lawyers and Leading Lawyers, and routinely publishes and presents on issues relating to business law. A longtime Ferndale resident, Mr. Williamson maintains close ties to his home city, where he serves as the chair of the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) and spent five years acting as the BZA liaison on the Planning Commission.
