Marlo Johnson Roebuck

Marlo Johnson Roebuck is an experienced litigator and adviser on race, gender, age, and disability discrimination claims. She is a partner at the firm, where she represents management on the myriad of laws governing the workplace. Ms. Roebuck has successfully represented employers in the health care, financial and professional services, automotive, retail, real estate, education, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries up to and through trial. She is regularly called on to conduct internal investigations of discrimination and harassment. When Ms. Roebuck is not in the courtroom, she also trains senior leadership and human resource professionals on maintaining compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity policies and is a frequently sought after contributor, speaker, and author on preventing unlawful harassment, making religious accommodations, handling tricky termination, employment remedies, settlement negotiations, and best practices in hiring and inclusivity in the workplace. Ms. Roebuck is also a cochair of the firm's African American attorney resource group, the former office managing principal of the firm's Detroit and Grand Rapids offices, and a member of the corporate diversity counseling practice group. She was inducted into the Order of the Coif at DePaul University College of Law.
