Saraphoena B. Koffron specializes in family law, providing appellate and trial-level litigation services. She also serves as a mediator for domestic relations actions on both a court-appointed and private retention basis. Ms. Koffron is a long-time member of the Amicus Committee of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan (SBM), having authored several amicus briefs for consideration by the Michigan Supreme Court. Additionally, she has been an elected councilmember for the SBM's Appellate Practice Section since 2022, has been elected to serve on the Section's executive council as secretary for terms beginning in 2023 and 2024, and is also the cochair of the Section's Professional Development Committee. Ms. Koffron was admitted to the SBM in 2004 and the Bar of the Court for the Supreme Court of the United States in 2022. She was listed as a Rising Star from 2016 to 2019 and as a Michigan Super Lawyer from 2022 to 2024 by Super Lawyers, and she has received the Client Champion Platinum award from Martindale-Hubbell every year since 2018. Mrs. Koffron and her husband Mike Koffron began their private practice before they were married, when they were fresh out of law school. They took a hiatus to gain experience through mentorship in more established firms and then resumed their practice in 2016. Their office is located in Kalamazoo County, where they are active members of the Jewish community.
