As a partner in the firm, Christopher J. Raiti centers his practice on municipal liability defense including land use and zoning law, civil rights, religious discrimination, race discrimination, personal injury, ADA, Fair Housing Act, and RLUIPA. Mr. Raiti is a frequent lecturer on many aspects of municipal law, including police liability defense, governmental immunity, and the militarization of law enforcement. He also represents a number of small businesses in their general corporate, leasing, and employment matters. A graduate of Wayne State University Law School, he was an active member of the WSU Law School Moot Court, receiving the individual award as the Best Brief Writer, as well as placing second with co-counsel in the 2004 Moot Court Law Day Competition. Mr. Raiti is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federal Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Italian-American Bar Association of Michigan. Mr. Raiti is a veteran of the Gulf War, having served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
