Christopher J. Berry practices in the areas of estate planning and elder law. The founder of The Elder Care Firm, he is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), a member and past president of the Michigan chapter of NAELA, and a member of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Berry is a Certified Elder Law Attorney and is also a Veterans Administration accredited attorney. He has taught at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School as an adjunct professor of elder law and has taught lawyers, financial planners, and social workers for continued education credits. The author of "The Caregiver’s Legal Guide for Planning for a Loved One with Chronic Illness" (Advantage Press), Mr. Berry has received a variety of awards for his law practice, including Lawyer of the Year from the Michigan chapter of NAELA and the Spirit of Detroit Award from the Detroit City Council, and has been named a Top Lawyer by dBusiness in the areas of trusts and estates.
