Richard D. Hoeg focuses his practice in the area of general corporate governance with particular emphasis on venture capital representation and mergers and acquisitions. He also works extensively with start-up enterprises, including those in the life science and software fields. He advises clients on the multitude of issues facing new entrepreneurs, particularly in the areas of technology, and intellectual property. Mr. Hoeg also counsels clients on U.S. and international privacy law and cyber-security matters. Mr. Hoeg was recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer "Rising Star" for 2010 and 2012-14. He has written and spoken a number of times on business-related issues.
