Michael D. Bossenbroek is a senior associate general counsel in the Office of General Counsel at the health system. He provides legal counsel and support on a wide range of hospital operations matters, including physician contracting, Stark and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance, patient privacy and HIPAA compliance, behavioral and mental health, telehealth, laboratory, pharmacy, post-acute care, state licensure, and information technology. Mr. Bossenbroek is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Health Care Law Section, including serving in various roles on the substantive law subcommittee. He has spoken and written on health care law topics for the ABA, AHLA, the State Bar, and other organizations.
