John T. Schuring focuses his practice on corporate and business law. In addition to his work at the firm, he serves as outside general counsel for a variety of businesses ranging from start-ups to large, established organizations. He is the current chair of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and has been an active member of the Section’s programs and communication/development directorships. Mr. Schuring has an extensive mergers and acquisitions and private equity practice, and was named “Best Lawyers in America” Lawyer of the Year for mergers and acquisitions for 2023.
