Kevin Hirzel is the managing member of the firm. The firm serves clients throughout Michigan and Illinois and has offices in Chicago, Farmington, Grand Rapids, and Traverse City. Mr. Hirzel focuses on condominium law, homeowners association law, and real estate law. He is a fellow in the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), a distinction held by fewer than 200 attorneys nationwide. He serves on the CCAL National Board of Governors and is a former member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Board of Trustees and its Governmental Affairs & Public Policy Committee. Mr. Hirzel has twice won the Best Manuscript Award at the CAI National Law Seminar and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America, Leading Lawyers, and Super Lawyers. He is also a member of the council for the State Bar of Michigan Real Property Law Section and serves as the co-chair of the Condominiums, PUDs, & Cooperatives committee. An accomplished author, Mr. Hirzel has published articles on community association law in CAI's "Common Ground" magazine, the "Michigan Real Property Review", and "The Washington Post". Mr. Hirzel has also been featured as a legal expert on community association issues by numerous national and local media outlets, including CBS, CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business News, NPR, Newsmax, and the Wall Street Journal, and he frequently lectures on community association law at state and national conferences.
