Katie Lynwood practices in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate litigation, and elder law. Ms. Lynwood is currently serving as chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan. She is also a member of the Ingham County Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. Ms. Lynwood is a past president for the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council, has served as treasurer of the board for the Junior League of Lansing, and was a member of ICLE’s Executive Committee. Ms. Lynwood is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Florida and is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to elder law and probate and estate planning. In 2013, she received the Ingham County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section's Top 5 Under 35 Award and the Up & Coming Award from "Michigan Lawyers Weekly." Ms. Lynwood was named a Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2013-2021 and a Michigan Super Lawyer from 2022-2024 in the areas of estate planning and probate.
