Charissa R. Potts is founder of the woman-owned and operated law firm, which focuses primarily on consumer bankruptcy and litigation. She is certified by American Board of Certification in consumer bankruptcy, was named to the 2019 Class of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s “40 Under 40,” and is editor of “Best of ABI 2019 Year in Consumer Bankruptcy.” Ms. Potts serves on the Sixth Circuit Merit Selection Panel and is an officer of the Federal Bar Association E.D. of Michigan Chapter. She serves on the board of and as a volunteer lawyer for Access to Bankruptcy Court, a nonprofit that provides pro bono legal services to indigent bankruptcy filers. She publishes and speaks frequently on bankruptcy-related topics.
