Matt Cross focuses his practice in the areas of business, entertainment law, insurance defense, law enforcement defense and litigation, and municipal law. Previously, he worked as a judicial research attorney for Judge John Murphy in the Wayne County Circuit Court and then as an associate attorney at an insurance defense firm. Mr. Cross is a member of the Litigation, Prison and Corrections, and Young Lawyers Sections of the State Bar of Michigan, as well as the Michigan Association of Municipal Attorneys and the Insurance Alliance of Michigan. He also serves as regional chair of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. Named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2018 and 2019, he has presented for the Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority and has had articles published in "The Litigation Journal" and the "Journal of Law and Society."
