Hon. Brittany A. Dicken is the Presiding Judge of the Family Division of the Court, where she has served since January 1, 2023. Judge Dicken brings over 12 years of dedicated experience in family law to her role. Prior to her election, Judge Dicken held multiple roles within the Saginaw County Friend of the Court Office from 2014-2021, including staff attorney, circuit court referee, and ultimately director. In these capacities, she worked extensively with custody, parenting time, and support matters, earning a reputation for fairness, efficiency, and thoughtful leadership. A frequent speaker at legal education programs and community events, Judge Dicken is committed to increasing awareness and understanding of domestic relations law among both attorneys and the public. Beyond the bench, Judge Dicken contributes to statewide legal policy through her service on the Michigan Judges Association Family Law and Rules Committees. She is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Saginaw County Bar Association, Women Lawyers Association for the Great Lakes Bay Region, and the Supreme Court Historical Society. Judge Dicken is actively involved in numerous civic organizations, including the Saginaw Sunrise Rotary Club and the 100 Club of Saginaw, and is a past president of the Saginaw County Bar Association.
