Shane R. Nolan practices in the areas of appeals and litigation, insurance defense, municipal law, and utility law. He maintains a primary focus on the defense of liability lawsuits on behalf of insurance companies, self-insured corporations, businesses, and municipal entities in a wide variety of civil litigation, including Michigan No-Fault claims (PIP, automobile negligence, uninsured/underinsured motorist), as well as premises liability, general liability, and insurance coverage disputes. In addition to the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Nolan is a member of the American Bar Association, the Insurance Alliance of Michigan, and the Oakland County Bar Association. For two years after law school, he served as the judicial research attorney for Judge Nick Holowka in the Lapeer County Circuit Court.
