Jack W. Schulz's practice focuses primarily on employment and civil rights law. Mr. Schulz seeks to use the courts as a tool to both assist individual clients as well as combat institutional workplace and racial injustice. Before law school, he worked as an organizer and project manager lobbying various progressive issues and ballot initiatives in 13 states. Mr. Schulz presently serves as lead counsel for a group of Black Lives Matter protestors in a lawsuit against the City of Detroit and has been named a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers each year since 2016. Additionally, Mr. Schulz serves on the lawyers committee of the American Civil Liberties Union and is a cooperating attorney with the Michigan chapter of the National Lawyers Guild.
