Brett M. Gelbord is a member of the labor and employment group at the firm, where he is spearheading the firm’s work in the emerging psychedelics industry. Mr. Gelbord provides guidance to employers on workforce-related issues. He provides day-to-day employment counseling and represents employers in administrative proceedings and lawsuits at both the state and federal level on issues ranging from claims of employment discrimination and wrongful termination to the enforcement of non-competition agreements and the protection of trade secrets. Mr. Gelbord advises clients on the legal risks of doing business within the industry as well as advocating for legislative and policy changes. He was named among the Top 200 Global Psychedelic Lawyers and Policy and Regulatory Experts of 2024 and named a nationwide leading lawyer in psychedelics law by Chambers USA for 2024 and 2025.
