Thomas K. Dillon is an attorney with the firm. He represents clients in a wide variety of complex property tax appeals, including electric power plants, big box stores, mines, and other large commercial and industrial properties. Mr. Dillon has represented both municipalities and property owners in cases involving valuation, charitable exemptions, public concessions, classification, agricultural exemptions, principal residence exemptions and transfers of ownership. His representation includes appeals before the Michigan Tax Tribunal, the State Tax Commission, circuit courts and the court of appeals. Mr. Dillon has been published in "Michigan Tax Lawyer" and "The Michigan Assessor" on topics pertaining to state and property taxes and has presented at the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountant’s Annual Tax Conference.
