Paul D. Bratt is in-house legal counsel for litigation and compliance for Gordon Food Service in Wyoming, MI. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and regulatory compliance for the company and its affiliates. Previously, in private practice, Mr. Bratt represented clients in complex commercial and environmental disputes, ranging from statewide class actions to commercial contract disputes to defending permits issued under the Clean Air Act. He successfully represented clients on appeals in both state and federal courts. On the environmental side, Mr. Bratt provided due diligence reviews and helped clients comply with permitting and regulatory requirements under the various parts of the Michigan Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act and its federal counterparts. Mr. Bratt also provided research and environmental site assessment support and assisted with CERCLA and RCRA compliance. His efforts in private practice were instrumental in large projects such as the Gordie Howe International Bridge, an infrastructure and public-private partnership project across Canada and the United States.
