Paul D. Bratt focuses his practice on commercial litigation and environmental law, including class actions and appeals in state and federal courts. On the litigation side, he represents clients in complex commercial and environmental disputes, ranging from statewide class actions to commercial contract disputes to defending permits issued under the Clean Air Act. Mr. Bratt has successfully represented clients on appeals in both state and federal courts, including a recent decision overturning a jury verdict. On the environmental side, he provides due diligence reviews and helps clients comply with permitting requirements under the various parts of the Michigan Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act and its federal counterparts. Mr. Bratt also provides research and environmental site assessment support and assists with CERCLA and RCRA compliance. His efforts have been instrumental in large projects such as the Gordie Howe Bridge project, an infrastructure and public-private partnership project across Canada and the United States.
