Marlene Zieah focuses her practice in the areas of tax and tax exemption. Ms. Zieah advises tax-exempt and for-profit organizations on the tax considerations of various transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and joint ventures. She partners with her clients, including health care entities and nonprofit organizations, and assists with obtaining and maintaining tax exemptions, unrelated business income tax exposure, property tax exemption
applications and appeals, and corporate and partnership tax matters. Before joining Hall Render, Ms. Zieah served as a tax manager at Ernst & Young LLP, where she advised multinational companies on a broad range of international tax
Matters. She has also served as a tax attorney at the Internal Revenue Service.
