David Wm. Ruskin practices in the area of bankruptcy. He has served as Chapter 13 standing trustee since 1982. Mr. Ruskin is a member of the Bankruptcy Law Committee and the Creditor/Debtor Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and serves on the Committee on Consumer Bankruptcy. Mr Ruskin is the cofounder of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association and has served as treasurer since 1986. He is a member of the Creditor/Debtor Law Committee of the Federal Bar Association. Mr. Ruskin is an adjunct professor of law at Wayne State University Law School. He has lectured extensively on the topics of bankruptcy and consumer and commercial transactions to both lay and professional audiences.
