A partner in the firm, Kelly A. Allen specializes in all facets of liquor licensing, including business formation, lease and land purchase negotiations, liquor license acquisition and transfers, and violations. She represents clients in complex and challenging situations before many municipalities and the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. Ms. Allen is a past president of the Oakland County Bar Association and a former chair of its legislative committee. She has also served on the State Bar of Michigan's Standing Committee on Character and Fitness and the Representative Assembly and is currently a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Business Law Section and its Alcohol Beverage Practice Group. She is an active member of the Michigan Restaurant Association and the Michigan Licensed Beverage Association and has been a speaker for ICLE and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Ms. Allen is active in the Michigan Lupus Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation, and the Beaumont Foundation.
