Lisa J. Hamameh is a shareholder with her firm, where she practices public entity law, particularly municipal law and land use and zoning. Ms. Hamameh has been recognized by Michigan Super Lawyers for 13 consecutive years. In 2011 and 2012 she was recognized as a Rising Star and from 2013 to 2023 she was listed as a Super Lawyer for government, cities, and municipalities. She was also recognized by "The Best Lawyers in America" in municipal law from 2016 to 2022, as a Top Lawyer by "DBusiness" in 2014 and from 2017 to 2023, and in the 2014 class of "Women in the Law" by "Michigan Lawyers Weekly." In addition, in 2011, she was awarded the Frances R. Avadenka Memorial Award by the Oakland County Bar Association for her contributions to the community outside of the legal profession. Ms. Hamameh is a frequent presenter at the Michigan Townships Association Annual Conference and Expo and presents training sessions for municipal clients relative to parliamentary procedure, zoning and land use, ordinance enforcement, municipal civil infractions, and criminal law updates. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan's (SBM's) Administrative and Regulatory Law, Government Law, and Real Property Sections. In 2018, Ms. Hamameh was elected to serve on the SBM's Board of Commissioners and currently serves as its vice president. She also serves on the Planning Commission in the City of Berkley.
