Chelsea Rebeck is a certified public accountant and an attorney, focusing on tax law, tax controversy, tax-related litigation, and advising businesses and individuals in a variety of areas related to taxes, finances, and business issues. Ms. Rebeck also is a certified fraud examiner. She has extensive experience in the IRS appeals process, statutes, and procedural requirements, as well as U.S. tax court litigation and as an expert witness in federal court. Ms. Rebeck is also admitted to practice in numerous U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Claims. She is the only nonelected member of the State Bar of Michigan (SBM) Audit Committee and Finance Committee. Ms. Rebeck is a member of the SBM Diversity and Inclusion Committee; the Tax Sections of the Oakland County Bar Association, the SBM, and the American Bar Association; the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Advisory Board; the American Academy of Attorney-CPA; and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. She was elected to serve on the Representative Assembly in 2017 and named a Super Lawyer from 2016 to 2018. Ms. Rebeck also recently began teaching accounting and tax-related courses as an adjunct professor at Walsh College.
