Keith Thomas Brown is an associate in the Grand Rapids office of the firm. A former teacher and performer, Mr. Brown practices in the areas of administrative law, appellate law, municipal and public entity law, and municipal litigation, and has successfully represented clients at all levels of the Michigan court system, including the Michigan Supreme Court. He advises clients on a variety of municipal matters, such as the METRO Act, constitutional questions, employment matters, the Open Meetings Act, the Freedom of Information Act, zoning, election law, and litigation. Before joining the firm, Mr. Brown worked as a research attorney and as a judicial law clerk to Hon. Christopher P. Yates at the Michigan Court of Appeals. He is admitted to practice in Michigan and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. Mr. Brown has published in the State Bar of Michigan's Appellate Section newsletter and has presented at numerous conferences of the Michigan Townships Association.
