Shannon Phillips is an assistant professor of law at the university, where she also attended law school. She teaches primarily legal research and writing-based courses and is the faculty advisor for the law school's Mock Trial team. Before returning to the university to teach, Ms. Phillips practiced civil litigation in the Metro Detroit area for 15 years, handling complex commercial matters, insurance coverage issues, automotive litigation, and acting as national discovery counsel.
