Stephen R. Estey leads the renewable energy and real estate practice groups at the firm, representing individuals, municipalities, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies in all facets of commercial and governmental real estate development projects. Mr. Estey's work primarily involves siting new transmission lines, utility-scale solar and wind farms, wireless telecommunication facilities, and commercial buildings. His extensive experience in expediting land use entitlements and resolving disputes over zoning, eminent domain, easements, and other complex real estate issues makes him a formidable advocate in trial and appellate courts, as well as arbitration and administrative tribunals. Mr. Estey coordinates the State Bar of Michigan's Real Property Section's zoning and land use committee and frequently shares his insights as an author and speaker on emerging topics in energy and infrastructure.
