Kenneth Kleinberg

Kenneth Kleinberg has more than 39 years of experience in IT, with the past 20 years focused solely on health care. He specializes in helping stakeholders in the U.S. and abroad with IT strategy, including EHRs, interoperability, mobile computing, and advanced and emerging technologies (especially AI and analytics). Past positions include: vice president of research at Chilmark Research; managing director for The Advisory Board; vice president of business development at Health Language (now Wolters Kluwer); vice president and hospital strategist at Allscripts; senior director of global health care for Symbol (now Motorola/Zebra); and health care vice president and editor-in-chief for Gartner. Mr. Kleinberg holds a BS in biology from the State University of New York at Albany and an MA in neuropsychology from Queens College in New York. He has appeared on ABC and CNBC, and has been quoted in “USA Today,” “The New York Times,” “Forbes,” and numerous health care publications. He is an HIMSS Fellow and has served on the patient safety, enterprise information systems, and connected patient committees.
