John Hudak is a senior fellow in Governance Studies and deputy director of the Center for Effective Public Management at the nonprofit public policy organization. His research examines international, federal, state, and local cannabis policy and law as well as presidential power, campaigns and elections, and public administration. He is the author of the book “Marijuana: A Short History,” which had a second edition released in 2020. He holds a PhD in political science from Vanderbilt University.
