Adam B. Townshend is a partner at the firm in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution and White Collar Criminal Defense practice groups. He defends health care providers in litigation, conducts internal investigations, and proactively advises providers on compliance matters arising under federal and state law, including the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Stark Law. Before joining the firm, Mr. Townshend spent 15 years at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Michigan, where he worked as a coordinator in the Affirmative Civil Enforcement and Civil Health Care Fraud areas. He has prosecuted all manner of criminal health care fraud cases across a host of service lines.
