Howard Yale Lederman practices in the areas of commercial, constitutional, employment, and real property litigation. He is a charter member of the State Bar of Michigan's Appellate Practice Section and has written many appellate briefs in the Michigan appellate courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Five of his appellate law, business law, and employment law articles and updates have been published by Michigan journals. Mr. Lederman has recently proposed a major change in the State Bar's admission process to emphasize learning, mentoring, and practical experience over test taking. He is also treasurer and Publications Committee cochair of the State Bar's Antitrust, Franchising, and Trade Regulation Section.
