Mark D. Williams has represented employers in worker's compensation and other employment-related claims and litigation in the Traverse City area since 1988. He also specializes in insurance defense and insurance coverage litigation. Mr. Williams has successfully represented his clients in the state and federal courts, including the Michigan Supreme Court, the Michigan Court of Appeals, and the Workers' Disability Compensation Appeals Commission. He serves as a special assistant attorney general representing the State of Michigan in proceedings initiated under the Worker's Disability Compensation Act. Mr. Williams has also represented employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency, the state's Wage and Hour Division, and the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
