Patrick M. Simasko is an elder law attorney and professor who focuses his practice on estate planning, Medicaid planning, probate, and trust administration. He is a partner at the firm and also teaches at Michigan State University College of Law, covering topics such as long-term care planning, fiduciary responsibility, and elder law practice. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Simasko regularly lectures for professional organizations and community groups on estate planning, Medicaid eligibility, VA benefits, and strategies to protect assets from long-term care costs. He frequently writes and speaks on elder law issues and has authored numerous articles for legal publications, including the "Macomb County Bar Journal." Mr. Simasko received his JD from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1989 and is a member of the Macomb County Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
