Georgette E. David focuses her practice on estate, and trust planning; estate and trust administration and litigation; guardianships; conservatorships; and family law. Ms. David began her private practice in April 2008. Prior to that, she was of counsel to Lacey & Jones, LLP. Ms. David is a member of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan and was instrumental in co-drafting vehicle transfer on death legislation. She serves on several committees including the Legislative Development and Drafting Committee; the Premarital and Marital Agreements Committee; and the Guardianship, Conservatorship, and End of Life Committee. Ms. David is the chair of the Court Rules, Forms, and Proceedings Committee. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Washtenaw County Bar Association, including the Probate and Family Law sections, and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Michigan. Ms. David is a volunteer for the University of Michigan Tax Pro Bono Panel.
