In practice for more than 20 years, Chanille Carswell is a shareholder, cochair of litigation, and the chief diversity officer at her firm. Her practice focuses on the areas of trademark, trade dress, copyright, unfair competition, and patent litigation in a wide range of industries such as automotive, banking, construction machinery, consumer products, e-commerce, and insurance. Ms. Carswell also represents clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Before joining her current firm, she served as a law clerk to Hon. Victoria A. Roberts, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Carswell was a 2015 fellow with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
