Adam S. Forman is a member his firm's Employment, Labor, and Workforce Management practice. A frequent writer and national lecturer on issues related to technology in the workplace, such as artificial intelligence, social media, and privacy issues facing employers, he is often interviewed by newspapers, radio, and legal blogs on those topics. In addition to his technology know-how, Mr. Forman's experience includes defending against wage-and-hour disputes and claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; representing management in labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and collective bargaining; advising employers about issues and policies related to social media and the online conduct of employees; and training workforces on employment law topics, such as how to conduct a workplace investigation. He serves on the Labor and Employment Law Section Council of the State Bar of Michigan and has also served on multiple committees of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, as past cochair of the Social Media Committee of the Eastern District of Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and as chair of the Employment and Labor Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association. Mr. Forman is also a member of the Bloomberg BNA Labor and Employment Innovation and Technology Board, the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. He is a fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and has been ranked by Chambers USA as one of America's Leading Lawyers for Business in Michigan for Labor and Employment (2011 to 2018). Mr. Forman was also selected by his peers for inclusion in "The Best Lawyers in America" in Labor and Employment Law (2010 to 2011), Employment Law - Management and Labor Law - Management (2012 to 2015, 2018 to 2019). In 2019, "The Best Lawyers in America" also recognized him as Lawyer of the Year for Employment Law - Management in Detroit.
