Licensed to practice in both Ontario and Michigan, Joseph H. Wener practices in the areas of real estate law, corporate and business law, commercial transactions, and issues pertaining to or involving Canadian law. With experience in both Canada and the United States, he has practiced extensively in the area of residential and commercial real estate transactions, representing individuals, corporate clients, and national institutional lenders. In addition to real estate, Mr. Wener's practice experience includes general corporate and business law, with an emphasis on commercial contracts and transactions, as well as counseling business and banking clients with respect to licensing, compliance, and various cross-border matters. He is a member of the Business Law and Real Property Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan; the Business Law and the Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Sections of the American Bar Association; the Ontario Bar Association; the Law Society of Upper Canada; and Tau Epsilon Rho Law Society.
