Erika L. Bryant has been a Michigan lawyer for over 20 years. Ms. Bryant is a solo practitioner and represents local nonprofits, small businesses, and individual clients in the metro Detroit area and beyond in both litigation and transactional matters. She is a commercial arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association. In addition to her private practice, Ms. Bryant believes in serving the community, currently serving as the vice president of the State Bar of Michigan (SBM)’s Board of Commissioners. She is also a past president of the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association and is a member of the National Bar Association (NBA), where she previously served as director for the NBA's Region VI, on the national board of directors for the NBA's Women Lawyers Division, and as secretary of the NBA's Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. Ms. Bryant has received recognition for her accomplishments, including Outstanding Young Lawyer Awards from the SBM and the Wolverine Bar Association, as well as Presidential Awards from the NBA. In 2017, she was recognized among Michigan Lawyers Weekly's Women in the Law.
