Jillian D. Fitzgerald is the Assistant Friend of the Court – Legal Director for Wayne County. Ms. Fitzgerald joined the Friend of the Court in 2008 as an associate. She was the special assistant prosecuting attorney for all state-initiated paternity, support, and interstate case filings from 2018 to 2023. Ms. Fitzgerald’s areas of expertise are child support enforcement, intergovernmental support, and community outreach. She leads special support enforcement projects and has expanded the FOC outreach program. In 2016, The Domestic Violence Awareness and Treatment Program at ACCESS presented Ms. Fitzgerald with the Purple Rose Award in recognition of her advocacy against domestic violence. Jillian earned her Certified Diversity Professional designation from the National Diversity Council in 2019.
