Paulette Michel Loftin is the chief public defender at the Oakland County Public Defender's Office. She specializes in criminal defense, divorce, family law, and driver's license appeals. Before joining the public defender's office, Ms. Loftin worked in private practice as well as serving on the Michigan Indigent Defense Commission. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and her law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
