Jihan Mae Raisa Williams is a partner-in-charge in the firm's Detroit office. A former federal prosecutor with diverse criminal law and trial experience, Ms. Williams served for seven years as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Michigan, working in the General Crimes Unit, the Drug Task Force, and the Health Care Fraud Unit. Before this, she also practiced commercial litigation with a midsize Detroit law firm and served as the assistant city attorney for a local municipality handling issues for the city including contract disputes, landlord-tenant issues, and misdemeanor criminal infractions. Ms. Williams is admitted to practice in Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
