Lisa W. Timmons is a full-time neutral with extensive experience in labor, employment, and commercial disputes. Ms. Timmons serves as an arbitrator, mediator, hearing officer, and factfinder in both the public and private sectors. Since 1998, she has led the Mediation Tribunal Association, providing alternative dispute resolution services to Michigan’s state and federal courts. Ms. Timmons serves on arbitration and mediation panels for the American Arbitration Association, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, FINRA, the Labor Relations Connection, New Era ADR, and multiple state and regional labor boards. She is neutral cochair of the State and Local Government Bargaining and Employment Law Committee of the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law. Ms. Timmons is also a former chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar of Michigan and former cochair of the Mediation Committee of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution. A former adjunct professor, she writes and speaks regularly on alternative dispute resolution.
