Paul J. White is an attorney with the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) in the Office of General Counsel. Mr. White works in the legal research section at DIFS, advising DIFS on legal issues and focusing on state and federal health insurance laws and regulations. Prior to working at DIFS, Mr. White previously practiced appellate criminal law as both a prosecutor and defense attorney, arguing in front of the Michigan Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. He received his undergraduate degree from Saginaw Valley State University, his Master's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and his law degree from Michigan State University. He is currently an elected township trustee for Grand Blanc Township.
