Chloé C. Schumacher is a principal with the firm. Her practice focuses on representing physicians, mid-level medical providers, nurses, and pharmacists in the areas of medical malpractice and civil rights defense litigation. Ms. Schumacher also has experience in alternative dispute resolution, including negotiating and arbitration. Before joining the firm, she worked at a Detroit law firm with a practice centering on medical malpractice defense, representing physicians, nurses, and health care institutions, and also worked in-house at one of the Big Three auto companies, serving as associate labor counsel with direct involvement in negotiations with the United Automobile Workers at the national level. Ms. Schumacher is a member of the Negligence Section of the State Bar of Michigan, the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, and the Detroit Bar Association. In addition, she is a former member of the University of Detroit Mercy Law chapter of the American Inns of Court, where she served as a barrister.
